We welcome Shannon Gerber to the program to discuss her role as Executive Director for The Home Depot Foundation and their work on the “Operation Surprise” campaign through November. Home Depot Foundation paid off three mortgages for veterans and is making house payments for folks in December. Half a BILLION dollars wasn’t enough for Home Depot to pay, and they have increased their financial commitment to $750 MILLION. We are thrilled to bring you the news.

Craigslist founder Craig Newmark joins host Randy Miller on The National Defense to discuss his $10 million donation to the Got Your Six network, supporting over 97% of the nation’s veterans. We welcome a retired USMC Colonel and the current Vet Tix CSO, Steven Weintraub, to the National Defense. Randy and Steven talk about the incredible service that Vet Tix offers to active duty military, first responders, veterans, Deployed, wounded, and families of those killed in action. Live Nation provides a large percentage of the tickets to Vet Tix, but the guys discuss how you can donate your tickets. Vet Tix has donated nearly 20 MILLION tickets so far, and we can’t wait to see where they’ll send our veterans next.
