We welcome the legendary country music singer and songwriter Clint Black to the show to talk about his life and his career. Randy and Clint discuss some stories from their past as well as his talk show, now entering into it’s fourth season, “Talking in Circles with Clint Black.” Born out of the pandemic, Clint has taken his personable style and turned it into a great talk show that you really need to check out.
Major James Capers
We welcome a true American hero, Major James Capers. We discuss his HIGHLY decorated time serving in the United State Marine Corps along with the director of a new biopic illustrating his life: Ashley Cusato. “Major Capers: The Legend of Team Broadminded”, is an honest and unflinching documentary that portrays the extraordinary true life story of Major James Capers, Jr., an American hero, who persevered through adversity during a time of civil unrest.
Tom Warner
We welcome Tom Warner, who is sharing his story of being twice abducted by a UFO when he was a young 10-year-old boy. Tom has written a memoir of his experience in the book, “Beyond the Stars”, and was featured in the 2020 Netflix Series Unsolved Mysteries “Berkshires UFO.” His story is being adapted for a major motion picture, and his story is really something.

We welcome Retired Navy Vice Admiral William French, CEO & President of the Armed Services YMCA, to the program to talk about the ASYMCA and its long history of supporting military families. We welcome, Rob Yang, star of the new Paramount+ Kiefer Sutherland vehicle “Rabbit Hole” to the program. We talk about his role as Edward Homm in this smart and tightly written drama. We welcome actor John Hoogenakker, star of the Showtime Limited Series “Waco: The Aftermath” as we mark the 30-year anniversary of the Mt. Carmel raid and resultant loss of life at the Branch Davidian compound in the 1990s. Randy and John discuss their own memories of the events unfolding, and how the documentary captures a flashpoint in homegrown radicalism and terrorism.

We welcome the creative force behind the A&E reality series “Neighborhood Wars,” Pat Twist, to the program to talk about one of Randy’s favorite reality series of all time. Randy and Pat talk about how the prevalence of Ring video cameras, cell phone cameras, and closed circuit security have cast a light on the scary activities of some of the nutty members of your H.O.A. We welcome back the Deputy Director of Media Relations for the American Legion, John Raughter, to the show. In this segment, Randy and John discuss the scourge of veteran suicide, and the American Legion’s new “Be the One” campaign. This is a great opportunity for people to commit to saving just one veteran who is suffering from depression and suicidal ideation.
Dr. Michelle Oakley
We welcome Dr. Michelle Oakley, the star of the hit TV series, “Yukon Vet” on National Geographic Wild, available for its 11th season via Disney+. Randy and Michelle talk about her upbringing, and how she found herself leaving the Midwest for the untamed Yukon, as well as how her family’s growth has been documented by this great series.
Sheila E
We welcome back legendary recording artist Shiela E. to the program to talk about her foundation supporting music education in our public schools. Randy and Sheila talk about the importance of education for our country and the critical thinking skills that are afforded by having a robust music education in their curriculum. Shiela has a new album out as well as a new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well!
Barbara Eden
Star of “I Dream of Jeannie,” actress Barbara Eden, joins The National Defense. We talk about her legendary acting career, her belly button, and her many proposals of marriage via the US Postal Service (most coming from Randy). Barbara is 91 years old and is traveling around the country with the Christmas Con, featuring 26 celebrity guests celebrating Holiday films.
