Randy speaks with actor Johnny Strong about his impressive filmography, including “Black Hawk Down,” “Fast and the Furious,” and his new movie “Warhorse One.” Warhorse One details the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan, which is interesting because Johnny wrote the script two years prior to the actual events. Johnny discusses why he sought to make this military-action film and shares stories about the young actress he stars alongside.
Amber and Marcus Capone
The National Defense is happy to welcome Amber and Marcus Capone to the show to discuss their Veterans Service Organization, V.E.T.S. Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions. Randy speaks with the Capones about Marcus’ time in the service and the treatment methods he and Amber sought when he struggled with P.T.S.D. and other related symptoms. Through VETS’ Foundational Healing Grants, they provide funding, coaching, and additional resources for veterans seeking treatment with psychedelic-assisted therapies.
David Corlew
We welcome back David Corlew to the program to highlight a recent award given to actor Gary Sinise, the Charlie Daniels Patriot Award. David and Randy talk about this prestigious award, what Gary and the Gary Sinise Foundation has done to help our military families, as well as some great stories from the legendary late Charlie Daniels.
Robert Boyce
Oxygen is launching another season of New York Homicide and we are joined by the show’s host, retired Chief of Detectives for the NYPD, Robert Boyce. New York Homicide takes viewers into some of the wild and shocking homicides that occur in New York City’s five boroughs. Boyce says fans of the series can expect a front-row seat into these crimes, as well as an introduction to a lot of great detectives assigned to the cases.

We welcome explorer and television host John Gates to the program. Josh is the host of “Expedition Unknown”, Wednesdays on Discovery. Randy and Josh talk about the nature of diving in Lake Superior and his crew looking for two WW2-era minesweepers that sank before they were able to make it across the ocean, and have not been found to this day.
Dave Rivers
Nate Herron speaks with Dave Rivers, Ford Enthusiast Brand Manager, about the Bronco Wild Fund endowment. Ford is donating a customized 2023 Bronco Badlands to the Bandelier National Park outside of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
This custom-donated vehicle will feature specialized equipment inside and out, including a state-of-the-art government communication system with satellite and antenna connections to provide reliability and redundancy in the most remote environments.
Dr. Erin Fletcher
We wrapped up the month of June and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness month. We speak to Erin Fletcher, Psy.D., who is the Warrior Care Network Director for Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).
In this role, Erin ensures synergy across all WWP mental health programs. WWP is using technology to help our wounded veterans identify and treat PTS and fills us in on the world-class programs that the Wounded Warrior Project is putting into place for this generation of veterans.
