This week on Celebrity Salute, we welcome the lead singer of Poison and a friend to anyone who has worn the uniform of the U.S. Military, Bret Michaels. Randy talks with Bret about the passing of his father, a veteran, and growing up a yinzer in Pittsburgh. The guys then talk about the “Rock” reality series, his turn as the winner on the 3rd season of NBC’s “The Apprentice” and mostly his nonstop work to salute and support members of our military.

We welcome the President and CEO of NaVOBA, the National Veteran-Owned Business Association to the program to talk about his organization’s work in certifying that businesses claiming to be owned or operated by veterans are ACTUALLY who they say they are. With more companies, like Johnson & Johnson seeking to support suppliers and companies that are owned by veterans, a clearinghouse is necessary to ensure that people and companies are who they say they are.
